In order to best serve you, to keep therapists safe, and to deter the spread of the COVID-19 Coronavirus, Westlake Bodyworks is committed to following best practices set forth by the Oregon Health Authority Guidelines for personal services.

We have implemented the following protocols:

  • Morning disinfecting of lobby and all common areas. This includes light switches, door handles/knobs

  • Each therapist sanitizes their room and table between patients, and at the end of every shift. Impermeable table protectors are used and sanitized between each session, with 15 min of solution-time in between.

  • Therapists wear sanitizable gowns or aprons

  • Each room employs an air purifier that is purported to remove the bulk of viruses

  • All therapists wear a face cover/mask throughout the client encounter

  • Hand sanitizer is available in the lobby and in each room

What to Expect as a patient/client:

  • If you experience any known common cold or Covid-19 symptoms (Fever, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, loss of taste or smell), it is important to cancel your appoint as far in advance as you are able. Late cancellation fees will be waived, and there will be a 14-day waiting period before we can reschedule

  • You will be asked to sign a healthcare screening relating to possible COVID-19 exposure and/or symptoms prior to every appointment -Please be forthcoming about potential exposure

  • Therapists will be busy between sessions sanitizing for your session and therefore we must make every effort to run on time. Clients should arrive on time, and not expect sessions to run longer than the scheduled time

  • Please text your therapist 5 to 10 minutes prior to your appointment to notify of your arrival

  • Your therapist will text you when they are ready to bring you directly into the treatment room

  • Please wear a face covering or mask upon entering the clinic

  • Your mask must remain in place until you are positioned face down on the table. You will be asked to resume wearing your mask once you are face up, and leave it on until you leave the building
